I keep trying to remind folks that one man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter. We would all have cooler heads if we remembered this point.

We need to simply understand that neither side is without fault. And neither side is golden.

My Gav thinks Israel has gone too far - and he's Jewish. I just got an email from my friend who's family lives in Lebanon. Thankfully, his parents moved north to Tripoli and are living with his nephew while all of this is going on.

I understand a country needing to defend itself, but this is a bit much - and, as Keith just pointed out, it was planned for five years, so it's not just because of these two soldiers, as stupid Norah Whorah seems to believe (her interview on this subject was the most vapid, stupid interview I've ever seen in my life. I even asked Hardball to take that stupid, vapid woman off the air).

It's sad. It's really, really horrific.

Clark, we can't remember that vegans and carnivores, and smokers and non-smokers, can co-exist at DU sometimes. The one thing you can count on, however, is that there will be opinions you would never have imagined about each of the angles.

It's an awful thing, and who is going to listen to our Traveling Asshole anyway? We have no clout anymore about anything. We're just the biggest kid in the pool.

That's what upsets me the most.
