He also has a chunk of Jefferson County (or at least, he used to). I don't remember what happened when they redrew the district lines. But when my parents moved to Whitewater, they got Tammy Baldwin!!

The best part is, Tammy often comes to Fairhaven to meet the seniors. There are lots of retired professors there, and lots and lots of liberals. It's a joy to cruise the parking lot there, just to see the uppity seniors' bumperstickers. :)

good and homemade for once. Course thinking might be the last one until the kitchen is done. I just never see the point of cooking for one so Lean cuisine it , besides I hate cooking.

Question for you and Ralps. Why would anyone think that a person needs 10 pounds of cheese at once?

Terry was giving 10 lbs of cheese where he picks up in WI. Usually he brings home butter from Richland Center. I just think 10 lbs is beyond what any one person could eat.

And Terry drive for Modern Mushroom/C&C Carriage of Avondale, PA. He usually picks up butter from Alcam and got the cheese from Natural Valley for some reason this week. A lot of the cheese is getting frozen. A mixture of Munster, swiss and hell if I know what else.

61. There are nuts everywhere
that will use any excuse for violence. I blame Bush (well I blame him for everything) but when it seems to be ok for a nut to lead it only gives the other nuts an excuse to do what they wanted anyway. With the repuke culture of hate I am surprised it doesn't happen more often. I'm glad it doesn't but surprised all the same.

56. Well, I gotta eat. Hope to see many of you for KO at 12:30 tonight.
Looks like that gig's not going to be plugged on Countdown because it's on another network.

64. My, Brian's goodbye was brief tonight.
KO's back Monday. :bounce: And we get to see him tonight.

It's been long days at work without him on Dan's show, too. Can't wait for his return.

73. Darn, she's not on my PBS channels now.
I'd watch that. The more I see what's going on in the world today, the more I think about that book. KO keeps referring to 1984, but I keep thinking of A Handmaid's Tale. The US government taken over completely by religious nuts. Women forced into only one of two roles: wife and mother, or breeder for a barren wife. And yes, forced to conceive the traditional way, because after all, artificial insemination might not work, and in vitro might result in having to murder unused embryos. No, best to do it the way they did in the Bible.

Scary.
