Keith to do Podcasts for MSNBC/NBC
So says today's Hollywood Reporter:

NEW YORK (Hollywood Reporter) - ABC News and NBC News announced plans Tuesday to offer podcasts, the rapidly growing mobile technology... NBC News' podcasts will be available in June on MSNBC.com, with initial efforts to be recycled content, according to NBC News Internet and technology consultant Jeff Gralnick. That includes hourly updates from NBC, clips from shows like "Today" and headlines from MSNBC.com, as well as clips from interviews on "Hardball" and the top story from MSNBC's "Countdown." He said that original NBC/MSNBC podcasts would be available soon.

"We expect that (Keith) Olbermann before long will be doing stuff," Gralnick said, referring to the MSNBC anchor who has embraced blogging.

Podcasting allows listeners to enjoy their choice of Internet audio programs on their own schedule and wherever they like. Users enter their subscription choices into special free software called podcatchers, which collect and make the programs available for playback at a later time, either on the computer or more typically an iPod or other portable entertainment device.

4. Check out iPodder.net
http://www.ipodder.net

Basically, it's a small program that checks RSS feeds for new audio blogs, and then downloads them into iTunes for you. When you sync your iPod, the audio files are transfered from your computer to the iPod.
Podcasting is a crossover between .mp3 filesharing and RSS data feeds.
