He said the following today:

In a free society, there's only one check on political speech and that's the judgment of the American people," Bush said. "I ask all Americans to hold their elected leaders to account and demand a debate that brings credit to our democracy, not comfort to our adversaries."

I say if he wants to talk or ask something of Americans, then just go out and speak to Americans, not to a closed, handpicked, wealthy, republican group. Speak to all of us. Also, don't arrest us if we are not wearing a supportive t-shirt or have a bumper sticker you do not like.
