Fear is a powerful emotion.
Edited on Sun Apr-23-06 07:35 PM by shraby
When it is used against someone, and that someone finds out they've been fooled, they will lash out at the one who scared them.

Even a child will hit at the person who scared them when they find out it wasn't really a thing to be afraid of.

When enough of the populace realizes they've been fooled, woe be to the ones who planted and encouraged the fear. The backlash will be tremendous.

Various levels of fear is the only trick Rove, Cheney, Bush have in their book..fear of people who are different in some way, fear of attack by those who are different, etc. I wouldn't want to be in their shoes when it's time for the chickens to come home to roost.

2. Yep, people will wake up to the fact that BushCo terrorized America
Saddam/al Qaeda, bio weapons, mushroom cloud, 45 minutes...all lies, all on purpose, to justify invading a country they'd already invaded.

5. I think Americans are seeing the damage done to their soldiers
and hearing their soldiers' stories firsthand. The non-elites who support Bush are the ones sending their kids over to Blow Up Land. I think this is what has turned the U.S. against Bush more than anything, and I think the WH expected this and has factored it into its strategy plan.
