FINALLY! A crackdown on contractor behavior in Iraq. |

These guys have been there at great expense to the US and have been subject to nearly no oversight. Some are running amok and it's the military that gets a lot of the blame.
Here's some news that the military is getting irked and some rules are being laid down:

and not US military personnel. The contractors were earning six figures. That adds up quickly.
But contractors have gone into areas the military specifically told them to avoid, then have to be rescued, etc. The First Battle of Fallujah was the result of contractors ignoring military instructions on safe travel, and the military ends up having to clean up after the contractors.
I can easily believe that contractors are the ones engaged in profiteering, prostitution, etc.

Glad things are going good. Hate to see the price tag if they were bad. Sure would be nice to see where all this money is going. I understand that is all still a big secret.
