Mick Jagger won't give up his luxury hotel room for B*sh
http://www.thesun.co.uk/article/0,,2-2006180696,00.html

Good for you, Mick! It's nice to know that our tax dollars are hard at work- paying for five-star luxury hotel accomodations for the Chimperor.

PRESIDENT George Bush can’t get no satisfaction — after Mick Jagger grabbed his hotel room.

The Rolling Stone splashed out £3,600 a night for the suite days before the US leader tried to book it.

Now Mick, 62, who has been a fierce critic of the Bush-led war in Iraq, is refusing to give it up.

The veteran rocker hired the luxury Royal Suite at the five-star Imperial Hotel in Vienna, Austria, for June when the Stones are due to play a gig in the city.

http://images.thesun.co.uk/picture/0,,2006181395,00.jpg

excerpt:

A source close to the millionaire singer said last night: “White House officials had wanted to reserve the suite and all the other rooms on the first floor.

<snip>

“Bush’s people seemed to be under the impression that they would just hand over the suites but there was no way Mick was going to do that.”

The classically-designed suite is said to be among the top 100 hotel rooms in the world. It boasts a 7ft 4in bed, chandeliers and oil paintings.

Former presidents Ronald Reagan, John Kennedy and George Bush Snr all stayed there while they were in office.

machine and performing sonograms for fun on his prego partner! Imagine that! Ten of millions of uninsured Americans, and Tom Cruise amuses himself with giving sonograms on his own, personal machine.

Anyway... how the super-rich spend their bucks is another subject. But that's Jagger's money to spend- he ain't spending my tax dollars.

Either so insulated from reality or just doesn't give a rat's ass that many of his ticket-buying audience can't afford to get a simple medical check-up! Imagine, the hubris of an overpaid actor boasting about owning a sonogram and performing the procedure on his girlfriend! Geez, there really is a side-effect to having sycophants kiss your ass all day and night, and pay you for one day's work what the average American earns in a year!

I for one will NEVER go to one of his movies again. F*ck him and his rants on psychiatry, and psychiatric meds.

Talk about a midlife crisis. Cr00ze is such a tool. BTW, I just read up on the Church of Scientology yesterday and OMG is that ever a bunch of whack-job bullshit! It should be renamed to ScienceFictionology or something. Unbelievable. And Battlefield Earth sucked too. I couldn't even finish that trash it was so bad. I think L. Ron Hubbard is a quack who wrote so much science fiction that he went brutally insane and started believing his own work. The only thing more pathetic than Scientology is his brain-dead followers.

61. L. Ron Hubabrd trivia:
He died on or about the day the Challenger blew up (I think it was the same day). I remember hearing about it at the time, and thinking the story will get no press because of the obvious, huge event of the Challenger explosion (and death of astronauts with Christa McAuliffe, the "first teacher in space").

A weird coincidence.

Yes, they are a bunch of NUTS-- if you ever saw the Steve Martin flick "Bowfinger", he spoofs them in it, and depicts them as a weird cult called "Mind Head". Really funny movie.

Edited on Mon Apr-24-06 10:39 AM by no_hypocrisy
"One day (shortly after the Vietnam War) Henry Kissinger calls up," Saturday Night Live writer Tom Davis recalled years later, "and the call is picked up at an NBC page's desk. And the page goes, 'Henry Kissinger's on the phone. He wants tickets for his son.' And Al grabs the phone and yells into it, 'You know, if it hadn't been for the Christmas bombing in Cambodia, you could've had your f---ing tickets!'"

48. Mick & Keith's Ode to *:
SWEET NEO CON
(M. Jagger/K. Richards)

You call yourself a Christian
I think that you're a hypocrite
You say you are a patriot
I think that you're a crock of shit

And listen, I love gasoline
I drink it every day
But it's getting very pricey
And who is going to pay

How come you're so wrong
My sweet neo con.... Yeah

It's liberty for all
'Cause democracy's our style
Unless you are against us
Then it's prison without trial

But one thing that is certain
Life is good at Haliburton
If you're really so astute
You should invest at Brown & Root.... Yeah

How come you're so wrong
My sweet neo con
If you turn out right
I'll eat my hat tonight

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah....

It's getting very scary
Yes, I'm frightened out of my wits
There's bombers in my bedroom
Yeah and it's giving me the shits

We must have loads more bases
To protect us from our foes
Who needs these foolish friendships
We're going it alone

How come you're so wrong
My sweet neo con
Where's the money gone
In the Pentagon

Yeah ha ha ha
Yeah, well, well

In a gp small regulation Army tent until the troops are home. He should also have to travel on an Army Cargo plane sitting in the canvas strap seats, until I can again afford a tank of gas!

Mick Jagger has brought me many happy hours of listening enjoyment and dancing. He has earned a luxurious room.

George Bush has brought me many unhappy hours of worry and embarrassment:blush:. He hasn't even earned a tent!

I refuse to stay in any hotel room that costs less than 5 really big ones a night. Mick deserves the best and he will have it. When prezilnut makes his first platinum album, maybe he can get to have a room at the end of the hall one floor down from Mick. But until then, it's off to the basement boiler room and a very comfortable army cot for awol.
