Democrats Say Lieberman Too Close to Bush

In February 2005, after Bush's State of the Union speech, the president hugged Lieberman and planted a kiss on his right cheek.

Call it the buss that launched a challenge.

Ned Lamont, a wealthy Greenwich businessman, is trying to snatch the Democratic nomination from Lieberman, arguing that the 64-year-old senator is "Republican-lite."

They make him sound like a damn corporatist, although from what I understand he actually has a soul.

although it is good that he can afford to invest in his own candidacy. I am here in CT and the people who do know about him are excited about this race, but unfortunately many people aren't even aware of him. It will take money for him to win (I imagine he could put some damning ads of Joementum on TV)

3. Too close to Bush? That's an understatement if I ever heard one.

Joe attends White House functions as an invited guest. I don't see Hillary Clinton on that guest list.

Unless, of course, she has to appear for the unveiling of a painting...

Joe is more of a Republican than he is a Democrat, in my opinion. He needs to be replaced with another Dem in that office.
