Labels are important. Leaker. Whistleblower.
In this latest accusation –

Those who break the law say - Leaker.
Those to obey the law say - Whistleblower.

However, Mary McCarthy claims she absolutely did not leak anything.

Some say the CIA can’t prosecute McCarthy because they only have a polygraph which is not admissable.

Instead, they get to malign her and make political hay.

Will/can they/do they want to put Dana Priest in jail, assuming she won’t reveal her sources?

Respected journalists say the Priset would not have gone to press unless she had multiple sources.

Now, our responsibilitys are these:

If Dana Priest ends up in jail instead of spilling her sources, we must understand what the difference is between Priest and Miller. We sneared at Miller going to jail because her role in the Plame/Brewster-Jennings/Iraq War was as an operative. Priest’s role has been that of a journalist.

Secondly, we must realize how serious the subject is that Priest has written about – rendition – transferring no-name humans over international waters to torture prisons in foreign countries to distance them from U.S. law, making touchdowns in foreign countries along the way. Rendition – obviously something our PNAC administration considers a THEIR top secret.
