3. Take comfort in knowing THERE IS NO GRASSROOTS GOP EFFORT. |
|
The Republicans thrive on corporate megadollars, not on people power. The idea of "grassroots" and "Republican" residing in the same sentence is laughable.

Over the last 10 years, to say there has been no Republican grassroots support is being really short sighted. They HAVE had a REALLY strong grass roots effort, but it's dead now. IMO.

Miss Mehlman* wants to hear from people we should help.
* BTW the only reason I put the gay stuff about ken in my post is all the anti gay crap they did. In 2004 they sent out pictures of men kissing and bibles being taken away from homes to people in West Va. w/ the message that would happen if Kerry was elected prez.

8. I think the third question is most telling... |
|
For the RNC chair to raise the fear of impeachment or censure seems, to me, to indicate that the RNC really sees that as a possibility. If so, why? Isn't that sort of admitting there are serious problems?

There is no way. No way. No way will I consider voting for a Republican candidate for any position in the primary or general elections.
I have been a Republican since I was first able to vote in 1984.
But never, never have I seen such woeful disregard for the American public and the general welfare of this once great nation than what has transpired in the last 5 years under GOP control.
This country has seen a complete whoring out to corporate interests. Corporations hold more power over this nation than do the people that place their votes and their trust in their elected leaders.
Many people now do not even trust that their vote will be properly counted. Companies like Diebold, ES&S, and Choicepoint DBT with their tight-knit relationships with GOP leaders have destroyed Americans' faith in their voting systems.
This country does not resemble what our ancestors fought and died for in the 1700s. It now resembles the tyranny and lack of representation against they fought. This government has become that which it proclaims to be vehemently against.
Disgusting is the only word that can describe has become of the GOP.
And God can't save you now.

|
I get an email biweekly from Kenny.
I ALWAYS reply. ALWAYS.
I'm sure nobody ever bothers reading my replies. If they did, I would not be on their email list. But it sure feels fucking good to fire a good un off to the numbnut. I mean it FEELS GOOD, and is a great stress reducer.

I mean, how many talking points can he put in one email. Is this what he is reduced too?? It reads like a fools guide.
And that is exactly why I posted this particular message. They have nothing, the jigs up, and this nation (even the Republicans) see through the bullshit now.
I assure you, I've been on the GOP mailing list since early 2004.
This is legit.

25. It's a real email. I signed up as part of their astroturf just to |

keep an eye on it.
Every email is like this. THE PARTY words everything to make sure WINSTON SMITH does not catch on. That way the memory hole can operate smoothly without any interference from "the grassroots".

1. Most important issue: Is the candidate sworn to impeach both the Frat Boy and the Cave Man?
2. Reason to maintain GOP majorities: The Founding Fathers feared power, therefore I fear American hegemony. The GOP will help Bush destroy American hegemony from within.
3. Thing that worries me most about Democrats winning: They'll wimp out and not impoeach the Frat Boy or the Cave Man, nor will they institute a single payer health care system, restore civil liberties, cut off funding for the Iraq occupation or roll back the tax breaks for the Frat Boy's cronies.
You get the idea.
