Is Tony Snow part of the "big WH shakeup" we've been |
|
hearing about? Josh Bolten's decision to replace McClellan with Snow seems in keeping with it. Funny, I almost used to feel sorry for McClellan in the funny way one relates to Bambi being caught in the headlights of an oncoming semi. With Snow, I won't care. I'll root for the semi. Let's see what David Gregory does with him.
I hope Helen Thomas gets to ask the first question.

If this is a shake up, I'm a monkey's uncle and I'm neither male nor related to bush..

2. He's a very poor choice. He's snippy and not good with details. |
|
I think they'll crack him like an egg.

4. Puffy has been a true believer for a long time. He goes back to Austin. |
|
Puffy thoroughly enjoyed being a shill and cried when he had to give it up.
Tony Snow, I predict, will be a much smoother operator than Puffy, with at least a better vocabulary. It was really bizarre with Puffy repeating the same phrases over and over and over.
The WH may taking Snow for several reasons ... first, he's a recent cancer patient and maybe they think the press corps will be gentle with him; second, he may have a devoted cadre of Fox watchers and talk radio listeners who like Tony more than the rest of the administration; third, Roger Ailes made them do it.
