Please watch HBO'S "Too Hot Not To Handle"........ a BIG wake-up call |
|
Definitely worth the time.....killer heat waves, hurricanes, etc. Global warming is good for the farmers in Northern Canada but deadly for everyone else! If you don't have HBO you can read about it on the web page.

1. I live in a coastal community... |
|
Where housing values are shooting up like weeds...but my mind often thinks of how, if the current warming trend continues unabated, forty years from now, where I live will, in the best-case scenario, look like Venice...and I'm not talking about Venice, California, either! :scared:

3. On the show, scientists discuss the sea level rising |
|
If you Google sea level rising you will find over 26,000,000 entries. I used to live in Hermosa Beach, California, so I can relate!

4. Several times this week...tomorrow at 9:30am on HBO/2 is the first |
|
I have Yahoo TV guide in bookmarks so I typed in "too hot" at the bottom and quite a few times popped up. This program debuted on Earth Day and was produced by Laurie David, wife of Larry David. You'll be glad you watched it.

My wife and I saw it and we learned nothing new.... we're gloom and doomers from waaaaay back about warming.... but for the first time we saw a mainstream production that put it all together. Good production values and a relatively simple message.
We were impressed. Congrats HBO!

9. I liked the second part of the film--it shows ways to stop this disaster |
|
There are many good examples given to slow the progress---hybrid cars, etc.
