McCarthy was an Africa agent....so was Plame..

Their tenure at the CIA coincided. I think they were friends, and when Mc Carthy announced her retirement right in the middle of the Plame investigation, I think Porter Goss shit himslef at the idea that she and Valerie would get together and maybe write a book..or maybe Mccarthy would be involved in the criminal case. They HAD to discredit her..
