4. Yeah... Why Stern??
I live in Florida and it's $3.00 too! I feel these high prices are putting the "squeeze" on us Americans who don't have big bucks, or those who couldn't even make ends meet before the high prices. And it's truly sad that we have gotten to this point when it could have been prevented a long time ago if Americans would have taken alternative fuels ideas to heart. These high prices have FINALLY put some focus on the importance of alternative fuels!

Saving the environment by producing alternatives is PARAMOUNT to me. I'm extremely thankful that I no longer work out of my home and don't have to commute like so many do. Here in Florida "mass transit" doesn't exist as far as I know. Oh sure, we have the bus but other than that I think you'd have to go to Disney Land to experience any other type of mass transit! Pretty sad!

2. I just submitted one. Of the thirty stations in my zip code...
the price for regular ranges from $2.91 to $3.05. Only one station, a Chevron, is over $3.00. Everyone else seems to be between $2.94-2.96 with the MurphyUSA (Walmart) the one at $2.91. I to quibble over pennies, but damn they start to add up.

5. We Californians don't need Howard Stern to tell us this
Gas hit $3 at Arco stations over the weekend; they've been that high at Cheveron, Exxon, Union, etc. for a little over a week now.

10. Cook County, Yes! Will County, No!
But, in Will, it's only a couple cents below that.
