7. just a question . . . why don't the number of posts for |
|
bobcat change? he had 86 in the 4/24 thread and 86 in the 4/25 thread. do post numbers update atomatically to the most recent number when you open a thread so that every thread you open at the same time shows the same number of posts?
just curious.

I mean, it seems like it is some sort badge of honor. :)I guess it is in a way, there is nothing wrong with contributing opinion.
But there is nothing wrong with not :) Even if you agree.
I have been here since the beginning and have been registered since 2002. I just don't post. But this is my main source of information and opinion. And even though I one of those people some of you wonder "what is wrong with those people" from Idaho, I am about as liberal as they come. :)
I am grateful for each and every person on this board. Those with 10,000 posts and those with 50. I know freepers like to join to try to cause problems, but they get rooted out pretty quick and just help to justify our positions even more.
This board keeps me sane.
Edited to fix my goofy smilies.

|
...the join date was October 2005, that's not noob is it?
I love BobcatJH's posts anyway.

tehn I went crazy and picked up loads of posts....
I got flamed a bit when I questioned the "morans" thing and got accused of being a troll cause I had been on so long with few posts ....
glad people realize that low post count is not necesarily an indication of anything.

My husband has been around as long as you have. We lurked for a long time before finally registering in 2002. It took both of us longer than to start posting. Right now I've got over 4,000 posts and he still has less than 200 . Sometimes we feel like posting but most of the time we read what others have found.

I'm not worried about being bitten :) I just feel that a lot of you, most of you, say what I am thinking anyway. DU is more of a support group for me. There aren't too many people like me up here in North Idaho! I try to convert the natives, but they are really set in their ways.

20. I'm more of a listener than a talker.... |

but I'm a county vice-chair with the Democratic Party and hanging by a fingernail off the left end of the scale!
Post counts aren't everything. Look at the wealth of thoughts and information brought in by these new DUers. I've been noticing much more encouragement ( :hi: ) and tolerance toward newbies as they wander into the tent to escape the elements. Keep it up everyone!
