I'm sure he's lost all the details, but for his age he seems very aware. He had reached certain conclusions about things over the years, and I think he remembers those conclusions.

I was struck by his comment that he came forward because of the political situation now. I'd like to hear that again.

1. I agree. I think the commentary is wrong.
I hope I'm that coherent at 92. He understands the nuances of the questions and is careful in his answers. He's well aware of the consequences and implications of different responses. Just another reason to dislike Larry King.

2. Bradley and Woodward were calling him sad.
Only Bernstein seemed impressed.

3. OMG! I thought I remembered
that he had passed on a little while after he came clean.

I'm glad to see Mark Felt is still around.

woodward's a sellout and Bernstein has been a voice for the people.

4.  Larry asked what he would have done if he hadn't been pardoned by
Nixon and he said he would have found a way to force him to pardon him. He is not too bad IMO for someone of his age.

6. Reagan. He was pardoned by Reagan.
Nixon sure as hell wouldn't have pardoned Deep Throat.

5. I think that Felt
has a dignity about him. I think that you can see that even at his advanced age, he still has some of his skills at answering questions.

9. Yes, his answers are short but cogent and to the point.
No stammering or stuttering, seems fully aware of his surroundings and all his answers made sense. He memory isn't great, but otherwise for his age that's not a bad showing. He looks more physically than mentally incapacitated.
