Damn, I can't get on C-SPAN. Immigration issue. Why the hell |
|
is it not cost beneficial for professional healthcare immigrants to return home and care for their own ailing and aging populations and help raise the standard of living in their country of origin? Then the US might not have to spend so much in foreign aid, and getting involved in wars between the haves and have-nots in those countries. I have worked with several medical professional who came here to receive their education and never returned to their native country to meet the needs of their own countrymen. Forcing those nations to take back their highly educated professionals should be part of any guest worker program. I have not seen any better or more universal healthcare as a result of these professionals staying in this country.

1. Our medical schools admit only the brightest and best. |

Medical schools in other countries do not put applicants through the paces that our schools do. Why are we allowing all these losers to come here and practice their lack of skills on us? It's a joke. The would-be doctors who come from overseas should have to go through the same screening and undergrad education process that our doctors go through. To get into a medical school in the U.S. you have to not just have good grades but pass interviews. Is that the process in Egypt or India? I doubt it. Why do we have this double standard?
