Now Kicinich speaking on the same issue with same theory as Paul. Don't like this legislation (or whatever it is called) no forcing Iran, no war drums.

5. Why do we need legislation for sanctions against Iran? |
|
What is this really about? Paul & Kicinich seem to worry this gives an OK to possible war if sanctions don't work??

Resolution allow for unlimited funding for purpose of regime change in Iran. What is an act of war  Think all should read resolution, it is bad. It allow funding for covert activities.
I am sorry this an undeclared ACT OF WAR against a country that in not a threat to the US. Iran can buy nuke for heaven sake Why go down path to hell If they want nuke they can buy it PERIOD Why make enemy of a country that in the first place is not an enemy of US.

7. Kucinich was on again stating that he wanted an amendment |
|
So many Dems are for this Resolution. If Paul and Kicinich is against it we need to listen up. This could be another bs, through the back door piece of legislation to get us into war, in other words, allow the president to make the decision. Worry, worry!

There is already a sanction on Iran by US
So you see they need to have a new resolution for sanction while there is already a sanction in place
I guess they want a better sanction
Or was in the part that authorize fund for regime change Or was it authorisation to legalise regime change

If you had put something about Iran Resolution in the title it might have gotten more attention. This is serious.
Edit: Franks is hostile on the floor about the lack of time allowed for speeches. I hear much shouting about the possibility of Iran attacking us. Sounds like Iraq 101.

9. This resolution doesn't really seem that bad... |
|
...I don't know much about it but John Lewis, Bernie Sanders, Jerry Nadler, Sherrod Brown, and a bunch of other progressives have cosponsored it. It seems like a very small minority of Democrats opposes it.

13. I heard Jim McGovern from Massachusetts |
|
say that the bill authorizes regime change, and to him that same the same as allowing war. Kucinich said much of the same thing. He said Iraq started out this very same way and have we learned nothing?
Meanwhile, the crooks are getting their way in the Senate, as well.
Debbie Stabanow tried to introduce an amendment getting a $500 rebate for gas before Labor Day. Thad Cochrane wouldn't let it be introduced. Made a point of order.
