I'm sorry, but I won't watch Ava's "WWJD" video. |

Yeah. I, a 41 year old snarky bastard, am too queasy to watch a video with images of violently killed children -- the very same images a 15 year old girl patiently manipulated in order to assemble a video. Sorry. I just can't. When somebody posts them in a DU thread, I feel as if my eyes are burning.
For what it's worth, I have a good excuse -- I'm totally against this war; always was. Pro-war freepazoids, though, should be forced to watch it Clockwork Orange style.
End of rant.

2. It preaches to the choir anyway... |

Don't feel bad. My b/f refuses to hear Bush speak and mutes the TV whenever the chance arrises... I, on the other hand, don't mind a bit. I like hearing him lie... it strengthens my resolve and I strongly believe we should know our enemies.
To each his/her own. We still have that particular right, so exercise it to your discretion!

We aren't the people who need to see it-- it's the B*sh loyalists and RW-nuts and chickenhawk warmnongers who need to see it.
It just might push me over the brink. I'm very glad she did it.

Those things're tough to see. I don't usually view stuff like that either, but I did view "WWJD" by Ava. It's very powerful.

Don't see how any one who has children can watch it without weeping. And, at this stage of my life, most of my friends have kids.

11. that is the difference between "us" and "them" |
|
we see a child hurting,a family grieving, horrific images that should anger any moral person of any faith. They see a means to an end. It's ok.Ava's video made me cry. That is it's intent.i wish they would show it on Fox-let's see all the "Christians" rationalize this.
