A prolifer had a huge melt down at the local resturant

Hey guys I wanted your opinion of what I experienced today. I am still in shock over it. My mom and I were having lunch at the local chineese resturant and a guy came in wearing a pro life t shirt. No big deal I thought at first because everyone has a right to free speech.

However he starts yelling at the girl that china kills babies and that they "chineese people" should all be deported. So the place starts emptying out and the guy was still on a tangent when the cops finally came and took him away for disturbing the peace. Afterward the owner gave us free drinks and appologized for his antics. Anyhow that's why I haven't been on today because I had to give a statement to the cops and we were at the Police Department all day.I was wondering if any of you had experienced this because I live in in a small town and I don't get out much.


Also please forgive me if theres alot of typos in this post. I am still creeped out by what took place. Thanks for letting me vent Danny.

5. Sounds like there was a screw loose

in that guy's head - beyond the normal close-minded, Bushbot mentality. I'm out and about quite a bit, but in a fairly progressive part of northern California. Haven't seen any complete nut jobs lately. I think this guy possibly had mental problems. Feel sorry for the poor restaurant owner, having his/her business disturbed during the lunch hour.

I've not witnessed such a thing, but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened here in SeattleLand. Everyplace has its share of crazies, and they spout off all sorts of stuff that has nothing to do with the real world. You and your Mom just happened to get a close-up version of what it's like, very often, walking down some of the main avenues in Washington, DC, where screaming people are very often the norm. And they scream about all kinds of stuff.

Think of it as a learning experience, about how some other people live in this world, and don't let it rattle you. Thanks for telling your story. Don't be creeped out. In America, since Ronny Raygun emptied out the mental hospitals and put people like this on the street, it's normal.

Several years ago, I was working at a hospital. Some nutjob walked in and started waving around a shotgun, demanding to see "the abortion doctors" so he could kill them (the hospital I worked at only performed abortions when they were medically necessary, but this guy didn't know that). Luckily, the cops were quick to get there and the guy was taken away without anyone getting hurt. I was working on the floor below where this happened, but it still freaked me out so I can relate.

I was at a Chinese buffet one time and this huge church group was in there. The pastor was this big slobby looking man with a nasty 70s mustache wearing a pastel yellow shirt, Elvis tie, brown corduroys, and black loafers - imagine that if you can - and he talked REALLY LOUDLY about religious stuff the entire time.

At one point he proclaimed loudly "did you know that people in China don't know Christ?" to which his mostly elderly companions murmured their shock and/or sorrow. His voice carried throughout the entire restaurant.

My mom and I couldn't stop giggling about it two tables over. :D At least that guy wasn't hateful and abusive, though.

If they found out that their favorite store, WalMart, puts so many Chinese made goods in their Fundie homes, knowing that China mandates forced government abortions.
