Hot Damn! The Plame news today was written in DU years ago.
http://www.rawstory.com/news/2005/Outed_CIA_officer_was_working_on_0213.html

Outed CIA officer was working on Iran, intelligence sources say

"The unmasking of covert CIA officer Valerie Plame Wilson by White House officials in 2003 caused significant damage to U.S. national security and its ability to counter nuclear proliferation abroad, RAW STORY has learned."

snip

"While many have speculated that Plame was involved in monitoring the nuclear proliferation black market, specifically the proliferation activities of Pakistan's nuclear "father," A.Q. Khan, intelligence sources say that her team provided only minimal support in that area, focusing almost entirely on Iran."

The A.Q. Kahn connection was linked in the original Plame threads, specifically by H2O Man, Robert Paulson and others. It has taken a few years to make it to Raw Story, and the NYT may be on board soon. Props to DU and the great researchers who exposed this in 2003.

2. And here is an update:
I would like people to continue to examine all the reports being made on today's events with Karl Rove. Discussion and debates are good. But there is no need to argue. Some people may think, for example, that Karl Rove/ Robert Luskin got a letter from Mr. Fitzgerald. Others may beliewve he did not. I will only say that Jason Leopold reported what sources told him. It's nothing for DUers to get upset about.

More importantly, there is no need to argue about "will Rove be indicted?" Be patient a little longer.

Things are good for our side. They are not good for Rove. If that changes, you won't have to be questioning it based on a photo of Rove with a silly grin outside the court, or Luskin twisting words.

I read one time that someone asked Confucius what he would do if he were in charge of his society? He said he would insist that words be used properly. There were obviously Luskins in his day.
