3. done...you don't have to worry about k/r for this
I can't wait to go through this at leisure.

unfortunately, the M$M, which is kissing Snow-ho's ass in a most embarrassing way (did you see Suzaahhhn Malveaux say how "well-respected" he is?), will ignore this. I hope I'm wrong on this, but when have they ever done actual journalism since 1999 (with dogged followup, as they did from 1993-2000)?

and.... Well respected by WHOM?

His remarks against McKinney and Shakur, enjoying laughing at them at their expense was over the line. 03/31/2006.

Maybe these lines were the racist remarks my friend had read.

Those of you with talent, please send to Olbermann, Huffington, etc.

13. The interesting thing
There really don't seem to be any smoking guns in his posts. What's interesting is that FreeRepublic itself recognizes that his association with them is a potential liability. Do you think the members there recognize the self-inflicted insult?

And now I'm over it.

Maybe if they moved out of their mommies' basements, their self-esteem would improve. Maybe there will be pork in the treetops, too.

If Snowjob and his freep cronies are ashamed of themselves, public exposure is the way to go. Kind of like an intervention.

20. Brownie was appointed by the same guy.
How'd that work out for them? One day it was "heckuva job" and soon thereafter it was "get another job."

If we spread the word about Snowjob's own words, the world will have a better handle on what kind of person he is rather than the one the spin machine is presenting as fact. He's a freep. He's trash. The public should know.

27. I understand about Brown. But what could Snow do/screw up to prompt
the White House to get rid of him?

People were after blood concerning Brownie/FEMA's handling of Katrina. I don't see people roaming the streets with torches because Snow doesn't answer reporter questions.

Bush has already conceded that Snow has not been entirely nice to him in the past. I think he'll happily trade previous negative comments for someone who is able to repeat his propaganda every day with a wink and a smile.

And, don't think the White House won't play the "cancer survivor card."

"You reporters should be ashamed of yourselves for picking on a poor man who had his colon removed because of cancer....."

I could be wrong about my thoughts, but I just think Snow has the job for as long as he wants.

35. Well while we both agree that he's scum, you have more confidence
than I do that there's anything Snow can do to make this White House dump him any quicker than the three years they let little Scotty stay aboard.

Bush loves FOX News and everyone associated with FOX....regardless of what negative comments Snow has made in the past.

Otherwise, they wouldn't have hired him. Lets hope I'm wrong. ;)

25. I understand your point, but sadly I don't think you need credibility to
be press secretary.

Look at how long McLiar lasted.....and as far as I know, he had no skeletons in his closet (Freeper posts, previous negative columns about Bush, working for a network that's in bed w/ the White House, etc.)

The only background and credibility I think you need is to be able to repeat presidential talking points and dance around tough, Helen Thomas-type questions from reporters. Don't you?

I think Snow, unfortunately, will be good at that because he's a reporter.

Don't get me wrong. I think he's a Freeping ass clown.

As I told my patner last night; "In his job as press SECRETary - it's not his job to drink to kool-aid - his job is to SERVE the kool-aid"

A press SECRETary doesn't set policy, A press SECRETary doesn't create policy, A press SECRETary doesn't write legislation -- A press SECRETary just figures out the best way to present it in a palatable manner so the rest of us will swallow it.

50. they all do
The Internet is a hotbed of ideas and thinking for journalists to use on their shows. They don't have to think now, nor do they have to cultivate that much in contacts, like in the days prior to the I'net.

The best way to find out who's reading what is just to watch their language. The slang inevitably enters into their delivery on air or in their columns.
