is far less significant in the Iraq war/Plame scandal than Libby or Cheney, I think it is extremely important that Karl face the music.

29. I suspect that Rove is guilty of far greater crimes than anything to do |
|
with the Plame case, and to get him on anything would be wonderful. I doubt though that he'll be abandoned and I can see him orchestrating political filthy tricks from a prison cell.

6. I voted "Not Sure" because that's where I am on this right now |
|
Rove will keep spoonfeeding Fitzgerald information to save his sorry ass as he attempts to run down the clock. He may even--and this is probably fantasy--give him Dick Cheney's head on a silver platter to both save his sorry ass and to rid his boss of the one politician in America who's even more unpopular than he is.
If the question was SHOULD Rove be indicted I would answer a resounding yes.

14. But you have to remember |
|
that Rove "played" Fitzgerald. He told half truths, omissions or lied until he realized other witnesses compromised his statements.
Each time he came back he was trying to dig out of a hole that was only getting deeper. Once he is on record as lying to federal investigators, the crime is already committed.
Don't forget the email he sent after the meeting with Cooper. I believe that's when Fitz put him in the crosshairs and he's been there ever since. First he was named in Libby's indictment as official A. Now, he's officially a "subject. That's only one step away from TARGET.
And it's my belief he has been informed that he is now a target. The indictment is 90-10. I'd bet on it.

28. I agree. I'm also hoping that Fitz is using Rove |
|
As to the specifics as to whether Rove will be indicted, I just don't know. Fitz has the goods on him but if Fitz is after bigger game it might be better to
Let's say Rove rats out Cheney. Fitzgerald then has a chance to cut Rove a get out of jail free card in order to turn state's evidence against ol' Deadeye. This is going to take time though because unless Fitzgerald has an airtight case he's not going after Cheney. You don't take a shot at the king unless you know for sure he's going down.

12. Who cares about what people on an AOL poll think. |
|
Sure seeing an AOL poll favoring indictment is nice but what I want to see KKKarl's mug shot. Anything less just seems like another waste of time at this point.
