5. 100 dollars
of your own money will be loaned back to at ruinous interest and take away from government services to you on the whole. Most of that money will be a drop in the tank as it cycles into the bigger chunk of personal income going to oil companies and other terrorists.

Then of course Bush could not restrain his pleasurable enthusiasm for having an excuse to poison the air we breathe to enable these profits to keep rolling in.

"Money for us and death for all" could be the universal RW motto.

But you can bet after the smoke clears the only thing still unclear will be the newly deregulated air pollution. Nothing else will be done. Tax breaks to build refineries that they never did? Sure. Burn up our oil reserves? Now that is a temporary solution and temporary is what it is all about. Alternate fuels, a tax credit or windfall tax profit? A Senate investigation with sworn oil execs?

Is Al Capone singing with the angels because he saw the error of his ways and became a just man? Bush talk is all talk. You will get nothing from him or the GOP but evasions, lies and bragging about the things they never did for you. As they continue to poison, steal and murder. They produce nothing and take everything in the image and likeness of their rogue corporations.

3. People need to think about this next time they go shopping at Wal-Mart.
Edited on Thu Apr-27-06 09:33 AM by AndyA
Since Wal-Mart is such a big consumer of Chinese goods, it is largely responsible for the booming economy in China. This allows more Chinese to own and operate automobiles, which require gas to operate. China's consumption of gas has grown considerably in recent years, which adds to world wide demand.

I'm not saying the Chinese aren't entitled to own automobiles, I'm just saying that Americans who shop at Wal-Mart are contributing to higher gas prices here. The money they're saving at Wal-Mart is costing them, and the rest of us who don't shop at Wal-Mart, more at the gas pump.

It's a global economy. What you do in Middletown, America has an impact everywhere else.

4. 1Q profits are obscene .. 2Q and 3Q profits will be pornographic.
Two quarters of gas prices in the $3+ to $4+ range will blow previous corporate profit records out of the water. Fat Bastards!
