Just heard the right wing hack Paul Harvey say Congress
is trying to buy your vote by giving you a $100.00 rebate on gasoline that you will pay for. You will pay for your own gas rebate and then vote for those that supposedly gave it to you. Buy your vote...I would almost think it was the Democrats that proposed this by listening to him. Either that or he is souring on this Republican majority and I find that hard to believe considering how much he has been an advocate for them over the years..

1. A reaction from a Conservative I know
He basically yawned and said, "For those of you with SUV's that'll almost fill up your tank."

6. It has a 16 gallon tank?
Obviously, my friend was exaggerating. :) But if gas gets to $4, it'll take $100 to fill up some tanks, I imagine. (Not my Subaru.)

I remember him turning against the Viet Nam war when his son was to be drafted to go fight in it.

7. WOW- the senior-citizen vote just went down the Repub toilet!
If the Repubs have lost Paul Harvey, they are SCREWED.

This is NOT a little thing;
it is evidence of a major paradigm shift.
