Protest over Iraq at Frist's office today? Possible arrests.
Edited on Thu Apr-27-06 11:56 AM by TayTay
Has anyone heard anything about this? There was a hearing by the Congressional Progressive Caucus today about Iraq and all the deadly consequences for both the Iraqi people and US troops.

I heard that several of the people involved in that are going over the Sen. Frist's office to try and get him to talk about IRaq, withdrawal, war-funding and such and that they are not going to be leaving, voluntarily.

Any one else heard about this? I know Cindy Sheehan was at the hearing, as was a young veteran of this war who recounted heart-breaking testimony about his experiences there and his problems in dealing with PTSD since he has come home. (His testimony about the Pentagon charging the wounded for damaging equipment in the act of getting wounded was just unbelievably awful.

Anyone else know anything?
