It seems to be a biography with background regarding her work and organization.

Whatever their position, the "catchy" title seems to be in poor taste. She deserves a little bit more respect.

While I disagree vehemently with much of what she did, like not offering the dying as much as a Tylenol for pain and her stance against birth control, which supplied her with an endless stream of people dying from poverty and neglect, I do recognize she provided at least some care for the dying and I applaud her for it.

You're right about the title. It's in incredibly poor taste and whoever decided on it needs to be imprisoned in a room lined with Jesus on black velvet until he realizes the error of his ways.

I've not read it, and I HATE HATE HATE Hitchens but I've read some reviews of the book and of Teresa and ... I'm not so sure she was all that saintly. Saying she is above criticism, even tasteless criticism, because of her dedication to religion or the poor is silly.

Anyway, the book is 9 years old, why now?
