Any republican who tells you you're a hypocrite, tell them that you being against the war has nothing to do with your car's gas mileage.

Don't let them pin hole you or label you.

The one thing that the republican party and media have tried to do is destroy individuality and force Americans into an extreme roll so that everyone on a certain side has a common enemy. From there they can control the people's actions.

My republican friends are not my enemies, they are my friends with different beliefs, that's all.

1. True. Also, are they not acknowledging that....
... the war is essentially about *oil*? Not terrorism, not wmds, not 'democracy'.

2. It's a start
Also, it's not only WHAT you drive but how far you drive it.

People who live far away from work and do lengthy commutes to and fro 5 days a week are going to use a lot more gas than people who use huge, inefficient vehicles to do the grocery shopping on weekends, while they take a bus or subway to work during the week.

I don't sneer at anything but H2s and H3s. Those things are just agressivly ugly, selfish and stupid. They also seem pretty hard to drive, as nobody I've seen in one looks like he's enjoying himself.

I feel kind of sorry for folks who are paying off their SUVs and are in a negative tradein situation, though. I just reserve the right to do a little cussing when they're blocking my view of the road ahead. I certainly don't assign them a political party or philosophy, since a lot of my registered Democrat friends drive them.

Tell pubs who try to pin the war on you for your SUV that the war was for oil company profits, something it's done very well, not getting gas to either him or you.

3. If a Republican criticizes you as being a hypocrite for having a
'no war' sticker on your SUV, you are then entitled to an admission from that Republican that the war really is about oil, not terror.

4. I'm sorry , I can never forgive the Rethugs for
their murderous ways!... They have never been my brother or sister and never will !

This rift is not just a "difference of opinions"
