Edited on Thu Apr-27-06 06:05 PM by debbierlus
We ALL love the Irish Alligator. Here on Fitzmas eve, it is time to determine just who loves him the most! How much do you REALLY love Fitz?

20. Hey debbierlus.......
Have you seen Fitz's cousins flash on his famous relative? "The man in America that can bring Bush down"

There is cute childhood stories and pics when he came to visit in 2001.

2. I won't love him until I see results.
He brought down the Illinois republicans, but I withold my judgment of him until I see the results of his Bush investigation.

5. I would adopt 20 cats
and name all of them Fitzgerald, as in Fitzgerald 1, Fitzgerald 2, Fitzgerald 3, etc.

Then I would toss them a few catnip mice named Karl, Dick and George.

7. It's an amusing poll, yes--but please do stop with this longing for a
"white knight" to save our democracy. We have to do that ourselves--we, the people. Patrick Fitzgerald is a brilliant and courageous man, no question about it--and he can provide inspiration to many, especially as to basic honesty and integrity in government, and public servants doing their jobs in the public interest. But he can only do so much. He is just one prosecutor.

WE have to act. And one of the things we can do is to fight for transparent, honest elections--in every state, in every county, in this country. Because we do NOT have transparent, honest elections now. That ended during the 2002-2004 period, when Bushite corporations gained control of our voting sytem with "TRADE SECRET," PROPRIETARY programming code and virtually no audit/recount controls, in the new electronic voting systems--as a result of the so-called "Help America Vote Act" (HAVA), a $4 billion electronic voting boondoggle, pushed through the Anthrax Congress by its two biggest crooks, Tom Delay and Bob Ney.

Congressional bills:

Russ Holt's HR 550 requires a real paper ballot, bans secret software in "voting machines", and has more than 170 co-sponsors, but the audit required is too weak, it promotes electronic voting and centralized power, and the secret software might be permitted to continue in the central tabulators (the bill is not clear). Seriously, though, most of us here are working hard for all that is good and just. It's just nice to give props to someone with power who uses it for good, instead of evil.

Not to mention the fact that I certainly wouldn't mind procreating with Mr. Fitzgerald!

but I surely do hold a tremendous amount of respect for the man. If he can pull this off the way we think he will, he will have earned my undying love, respect and my nomination for the Nobel prize for honesty and determination. Doesn't get any better than that! Go Fitz!!! You are a breath of fresh air.
