1. How Media Giants Are Reassembling The Old Oligopoly
An old article, but it talks about the five Media Giants: http://www.reclaimdemocracy.org/weekly_2003/media_oligopoly.html

I'm sure you can find the contributions of their officers at opensecrets.org.

2. The 'librul media'?
Does he mean the 'librul media' that got right in line with Bush before the Iraq war? The one that passed his lies off as facts? The one that didn't ask the same questions the alternative media and the foreign press were asking? The one that didn't say a word about the manipulation of intelligence while the British press did? The 'librul media' that ran Judy Miller's fiction about Saddam's biochemical arsenal on the front page of The New York Times?

Is he talking aobut that 'librul media'?

7. Which is way I didn't talk about politics while working.
This is not directed at you Matcom but when I was working I avoided politics like the plague. It was too distracting from my job.

8. The Daily Show does a good job of...
pointing out how all three major news networks air the exact same story at the exact same time. Tell him to try that at any given time of day, then that's proof that there really is no "librul media".

9. I don't have access to my normal box, so I can't get the link, but there's
a site called who owns what (or something similar) that has put all this info together. Try this to get a start;

10. Here's a couple of links on the subject:
Here's a link to an article about right wing media agents spreading the administration's propoganda about the war in Iraq:
http://www.fair.org/index.php?page=2842

Here's a good Robert Kennedy Jr. speech on the subject of the "liberal" media:
