7. He made some stupid comment...
About how the huge profits could just be because the oil companies are trying to increase supply? He made a comment along those lines, or something equally as stupid.

I can't wait November, these bastards can't lose power quick enough.

15. Or at least...
...that he knows his supporters are stupid, which apparently everyone knows -- except his supporters. The Republicans play their supporters for fools all the time, and they just don't get it. It's kinda sad in a way.

8. They asked him about the bill
The Senate would not vote on and he would not answer her question and she did not challenge it of course... He said the repubs have a bill to take away royalties from gas companies... He makes me sick :puke:

14. Defending oil companies
When they approved a half a billion retirement package for Lee Raymond, and continue to bask in astronomical profits, defending oil companies is not going to endear Frist to people. Unless the person is wealthy, and benefits from price gouging, his apologies for big oil are not going to go over too well. People are strapped, worried about keeping their jobs, and the high price of gas is hurting.

What a dilemma for the Repugs, whether to cater to their corporate big-money donors, or to the American people, who are the ones who vote politicians into, or out of, office. If the discontent keeps spreading, I doubt that even Diebold can help.

16. What do you expect from a man
who wears $200 shoes?

He doesn't even have to pay for his own gas anyway. I'm sure someone else takes care of that for him.

Elitist asshole.
