CIA's Goss Drawn Into Hooker Probe?
By Justin Rood - April 27, 2006
http://www.tpmmuckraker.com/archives/000494.php

Ken Silverstein reports at Harper's blog on the spreading Cunningham-Wade-Wilkes prostitute scandal. He says more lawmakers, past and present, are being investigated. Sounds like he thinks House Intel Chair-turned-CIA Director Porter Goss is one of them:

I've learned from a highly-connected source that those under intense scrutiny by the FBI are current and former lawmakers on Defense and Intelligence comittees -- including one person who now holds a powerful intelligence post.

Yowzah.

Actually, make that a double-yowzah: Remember that Goss is the one who plucked one of Wilkes' old San Diego friends, the unusual and colorful Kyle "Dusty" Foggo, out of CIA middle-management obscurity to be his #3 at the agency. At the time of Foggo's appointment, no one could figure out where he came from, or how Goss knew him.

But if Goss was at the "parties," I wonder, was Foggo there too? Did they see each other? Is this where Goss had an opportunity to gauge Foggo's abilities, and determine he was qualified for the CIA executive director post?

27. well, it's Hookergate at the Watergate
Things that make you go hmmmm

from the WSJ article:

In recent weeks, Federal Bureau of Investigation agents have fanned out across Washington, interviewing women from escort services, potential witnesses and others who may have been involved in the arrangement. In an interview, the assistant general manager of the Watergate Hotel confirmed that federal investigators had requested, and been given, records relating to the investigation and rooms in the hotel. But he declined to disclose what the records show.

37. Few remember, but there was a hooker scandal tied in with Watergate, too.
Google: Heidi Reiken call-girl ring. The Heidi Rieken call-girl ring was reported in the back pages of the WP, and involved murder and lots of GOP diddling, a nearly spiked sidebar scandal -- too many powerful people caught up. Mo Dean and Heidi were roomates. Heidi was a Clint Murchison girlfriend from Dallas.

So, nothing's new under the sun.

I'd LOOOOOVE to see them get something on Porter Goss!

One of the requirements for being a normal person (regular employee, versus political appointee) in the Intelligence Community is that you have a "lifestyle" polygraph before you're offered a job. Basically, they ask you all kinds of embarrassing questions to see if you react, on the remote chance that you could be blackmailed. One of those questions is if you've ever had a homosexual affair. There's no problem if you're gay (except if you're in the military, but that's a different story), they just want you to be out so that nobody can blackmail you. So, I wonder if political appointees are subject to a lifestyle poly, too?

It gets even more interesting: the man who has been identified as the CEO of Shirlington has a 62-page rap sheet (I recently obtained a copy) that runs from at least 1979 through 1989 and lists charges of petit larceny, robbery, receiving stolen goods, assault, and more. Curiously—or perhaps not so curiously given the company's connections—Shirlington Limousine is also a Department of Homeland Security contractor; according to the Washington Post, last fall it won a $21.2 million contract for shuttle services and transportation support.

53. Limo company got one of 20 small business achievement awards from HS
Edited on Thu Apr-27-06 10:06 PM by caligirl
Borrower Makes Investment

Shirlington Limousine was a thriving small business at the Reagan Washington National Airport until the airport was closed following the September 11, 2001, terrorists attacks. Chris Baker, CEO, said that the business struggled to survive until in 2003 he learned about the September 11th Small Business Assistance Fund being managed by the WACIF. Under the program, WACIF provided grants and loans to businesses at the airport who suffered financial loss due to the closing of the airport. Shirlington Limousine received a combination of grants and loans, which has enabled the company to recover from its losses.. “WACIF’s assistance to Shirlington Limousine at a critical time has made it possible for my company to not only bounce back, but to grow,” stated Baker. Since receiving assistance from WACIF, Shirlington Limousine has received a federal contract from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

{In April of 2005, he was one of more than 20 small businesses that received the agency’s Small Business Achievement Award during the agency’s first small business awards ceremony.}

In appreciation for the assistance received from WACIF, Chris Baker and Lucretia Pearce (Shirlington chief operating officer) each invested $5,000. “We decided to make an investment in WACIF so that we can be partners with the organization in assisting other small businesses in the Washington metropolitan area,” stated Baker.http://www.swingforthegreen.com/

Reminds me of Tenet getting an award.

57. They were fired from Howard University for a host of
allegations including bad service and dirty buses, as well as operating without a license and subcontracting service without the University being made aware.

Effective Aug. 1, 2002, Howard suspended Shirlington from operating any Howard University Bus Services (HUBS) and also revoked Shirlington's privilege to operate for other University venues on campus.

The four-page letter sent by the Office of Material Management Department said Shirlington was suspended for at least one year from conducting any services regarding, "all colleges and schools of the University, all administrative offices, Howard University Hospital, and all other entities that use the University funds for the acquisition of goods and services."

The suspension letter also stated the grounds for Shirlington suspension. The allegations included failure to provide copies of maintenance records, failure to provide evidence of workman's compensation insurance, cited on numerous occasions for poor bus cleanliness, poor implementation of two-way communication system, and subcontracted to Thomas Tours without written authorization from the University.

"Is this where Goss had an opportunity to gauge Foggo's abilities, and determine he was qualified for the CIA executive director post?"

From what I have learned over the years reading books on intelligence and the "not so" secret world of initiation/filtering members, that is EXACTLY how these intelligence types get to positions of power. This latest article is just another case-in-point.

Not to mention, how do you think Jeff Gannon/James Guckert got to the position of White House press corps reporter?

When they prove that they are made of the same cloth by engaging in these types of illicit sexual behaviors (of any part of the spectrum). This proves loyalty to a twisted morality.

At the same time, the people that have power over them have video evidence (or photographic) of said person in such a compromising situation. This ensures continued loyalty, should ever develop a "conscience".

It's a double whammy - one to prove loyalty, the other to guarantee loyalty.
