Repub talking point: ITS ALL JUST A RUN OF BAD LUCK !!!!!
I'm so glad that ol' librul CNN cleared it all up for everyone this evening. They ran a story showing repub after repub after repub (repub pollsters and strategists mainly, including Cruella Harris' twin sister, Mary "I'm Mad" -alin) telling us that Bush and the repubs have just simply had a run of bad luck, and they just need to get their "mojo" back (Mary's word).

Oil prices? Bad luck
Harriet Meyers? Bad luck
The Scootmeister indictment? Bad luck
Rove legal troubles? Bad luck
Shrub IQ? Bad luck
Katrina response? Bad luck
Iraq mess? Bad luck
Nothing done on illegal immigration? Bad luck
Debt spending out to our ears? Bad luck

None of these things had anything to do with the fact repubs have owned the WH, House, and Senate for the past 6 years. I'm so amazed we've had it all wrong all this time! Here we thought it was gross incompetence, lack of moral character, and lack of compassion for the common man. WHO KNEW!!!

:banghead:
:sarcasm:

7. Now THAT's funny! GOP's "bad luck" never mind the real victims
They think that THEY have had a run of bad luck?????

How about the Katrina survivors, the planet, the nation, our children's children, those without jobs and health insurance, other survivors and non-survivors of other nasty storms that result from global climate change, the poor, those disenfranchised by the vote theft, the tortured etc etc????

And it is the GOP that has had bad luck?

Just so typical of them.

All PR, all about them.

8. Yeah, I kept thinking "how bout OUR bad luck that we have to live under
the rule of these morons"

I also wondered: did these same repub strategists and pollsters think any of the things they griped about during the Clinton administration was just some bad luck Clinton was having?

10. there was a Republican on Maher's show one night.........
...who tried a similar thing except he didn't use the same words.

He said the Republicans got 'hit by' and began listing a number of things beginning with Schiavo. Immediately Maher said 'what do you mean hit by? They brought that on themselves....they created that mess!'

And if you look at all of those things, they created that mess themselves!! (Ok, so maybe they didn't create Shrub's IQ but they knew about that when they voted him into office) Saying it's bad luck is just one more way that they don't have to be accountable or accept responsibility for any of the great number of major screw ups they've created!

Bottom line...........it's their fault!! If they're going to keep trying to sell this BS that it's not their fault, there needs to be someone there reminding them that they were in charge!! And yes, it certainly IS their fault!!!!!!

I'm sorry...........I'm just not buying the 'bad luck' argument and I doubt that many Americans will either.

11. No Republican ever has to bear responsibility for anything, even if
they have controlled the whole government apparatus for years, apparently.

One Party Republican Rule. That is what we have, and have had. Happy with the results? Emphasize to your acquaintances in conversation.

Of course, it has NOTHING to do with their basic CHOICES and POLICY!

It's all just some bad PRESENTATION problems!

Let them think that is the problem - and they can just keep on fucking up - and hopefully the sheeple will wake up and see it.

SORRY REPUKES!

It's all YOURS! YOU created it! YOU bought it!

YOU control everything - YOU OWN IT!

Now WE get to justly BLAME YOU FOR YOUR FUCKUPS!

Hope to see all you repukes in PRISON for your CRIMES!

14. I agree that the Bush has had a series of hard problems to deal with.
With that being said his policies have not been adequate to deal with the problems at hand.
