9. It would be nice if a "real" journalist asked them about PNAC.
But the "real journlists" have probably never heard of PNAC.

…who are obviously being horribly overworked running the country
all by themselves. As ** said, "It's hard work!"

They all need a nice long vacation. I know just the place.

We simply can't let them get away without paying a visit to the
fabulous Palace of Peace in the Hague.

As fervent capialists, they will no doubt be interested to know that the
construction of the Peace Palace was funded by Andrew Carnegie.

The fine people at the International Criminal Court will simply insist
that they pay them a visit while they are in town.

Accomodations will be provided, with the utmost security:

19. He just confirmed what I've been saying about the elections...
"We need Pelosi and Charlie Rangel...raising taxes in 2007...so we can take the presidency in 2008"

This is their fucking game plan. Let the dems be the bad guys, so they have an excuse for the next big election theft.

The extent of the corruption and incompetence uncovered would be staggering (I bet). I want to watch it all unfold.

first 5 investigations that would have priority when we take back the House and Senate and gain subpoena power.. I forget the order, but it was.. Katrina, wiretapping, Plame, corruption/access scandals, and something else.. I can't remember the last one.. The best part was that he rattled them off the top of his head quite nicely, like they've all ready got a plan for the investigations...

he seemed comfortable enough responding to the questions.

33. I fell alseep early, so I missed it last night
But that sounds right. I've seen Kristol on C-SPAN and a few documentaries being asked about PNAC. It's the same with any of them that sign those policy papers, or whatever the hell they are. They don't just come out and talk about it, but if asked, they're rather matter of fact about the whole thing. "Yeah, it's a small think tank", responses like that.

I'll catch it tonight on the replay, because any time those four letters are uttered on TV it's a rare sight, and I'm expecting what you saw, as opposed to what some of the other posts about the interview saw.

35. I disagree.
His immediate reaction was, "Uh...uh.........I'm speechless." The man is a co-founder of PNAC -- what is there to be speechless about? He was clearly uncomfortable about the subject.

Even denied Rumsfeld was a member: "He signed one of our letters."

39. He seemed totally flummoxed to me. Colbert is getting better
every week and he achieved new heights with Kristol. Colbert speaks out loud what the PNACers are thinking but are too afraid to verbalize. By doing that, he sheds light on their dark plots and helps those who pay attention be warned. Great work S. Colbert.

28. I was impressed that Colbert rebutted the "response to 9/11" dodge
Since PNAC was around during the nineties. Kristol sure attempted it, though.

32. I should stop reading posts from the east coasters, when i actually see...
it, it's always a let down. I expected Kristol to be reduced to babbling and spiting drool, what I got was two people talking over each other in some weird verbal fencing match. Neither participant won.

They were talking about Tony Snow and Colbert said (paraphrasing), "Hmm that's quite a stretch, he's going from Fox News commentator to White House apologist."
