Can anyone explain this week's Al Gore "South Park" episode? |
|
I'm just baffled. Anyone got a clue? "Man-bear-pig?" WTF?
Matt and Trey are usually pretty coherent in their attacks on those that deserve to be attacked, but this was just... pointless.

3. They're out of gas, at the limits. Not funny much anymore. |
|
They resort to politics like failed sitcom stars resort to informertials. It's all they can do.
They need a new gig.

4. I'm assuming 'man-bear-pig' = global warming (i.e. mythical, to RWers). |
|
Essentially they are knocking Gore for warning and being concerned about global warming, which they apparently to consider to be "not real", like the man-bear-pig.

They had people running to bomb shelters due to a panic about global warming. They obviously are on the wrong side of that debate.

10. It's about as funny as having Bush say manbearpig, and cereal |
|
It says something that they have to resort to such twaddle when it comes to lampooning us.
Beware MattTreyDrunkenFratBoyFreeperPanderBearPig!
You keep your dumb asses planted on that burning right wing bandwagon, at your own peril.

5. I think manbearpig was supposed to represent global warming |
|
Can't help you any more than that, as it was abysmally stupid and nonsensical.

7. It was pretty bad. I love the first few seasons and the film |
|
But these latest seasons are just getting worse and worse. The last classic episode I saw was AWESOME-O

They've been incomprehensible on the Return of Chef episodes as well as the Family Guy episodes: the only thing you could glean from any of them was some sort of juvenile vindictiveness.

11. Yeah its just like Saturday Night Live |

The humor is just fading away. You keep watching, hoping its just a temporary slump, but it just keeps declinging.

13. Apparently Matt and Trey think global warming is |
|
just as ridiculous and mythical as something called "manbearpig".
I hope their ratings are TANKING.

15. Actually, I think "Matt and Trey" are overrated and often full of shit. |

Their right-wing leanings keep making themselves more and more obvious.

16. It was the most retarded episode ever.. |
|
I don't think I laughed a single time, and I'll laugh at anything..
If ever they've Nailed it, the Scientology episode is one of their best.
Like Gore could ever be that pathetic, the man is a goddam genius, inspirational and I wish he'd come back and kick the next republicans ass to the curb in 2008.
He may be the one to save the freaking planet. Nothing funny about people drowning in the South of the USA because Bush lives in LA LA LAND.
