Bush WARNS Democrats: "Don't slam my Iraq policy!"

By JENNIFER LOVEN, Associated Press Writer 20 minutes ago

WASHINGTON - President Bush warned Democratic critics of his Iraq policy on Tuesday to watch what they say or risk giving "comfort to our adversaries" and suffering at the ballot box in November. Democrats said Bush should take his own advice.

1. Right-wing morons will say we lost Iraq because of the liberals- forever.
That's what the real psychos say about Vietnam. It doesn't have to make sense- it just has to let them avoid any honest introspection.

10. Sounds like Junior knows something that we don't know....
What a weasel.

Iraq is in the toilet. It's only going to worsen. He just said this in a speech yesterday. Furthermore, the American public--by a clear majority is against this war and how it is being managed. A majority also thinks it wasn't worth it.

So, how can Junior POSSIBLY think that being against the Iraq war will hurt anyone in November?

All polls indicate that Dems, not Reps--are favored heavily in 06 elections.

Why would he say this?

My guess is that he and his little PNAC cohorts have something cooked up. They're planning some big "event" that will position anti-war candidates as pro-terrorist. Junior got out of a meeting with the big boys--and he's feeling petulant and egotistical.

Careful Junior--you don't want to give away the big PNAC plan to everyone.

I wonder what they're planning on doing, this time?

17. How dare he!! The sheer stupidity of that statement boggles the mind
Edited on Wed Jan-11-06 12:02 AM by Catrina
As if we had enemies in Iraq before he bombed them to bits. I have no enemies there, nor ever did. He is the one with enemies EVERYWHERE. Just being associated with him is dangerous to everyone's health. Tens of thousands of dead people, and he thinks it's because we criticize him that their relatives and friends are fighting back. The stupidity knows no bounds!!

Ari Fleischer tried that scare tactic also 'they better watch what they say'. No, George, we will say what we think, and you'll just have to deal with it. Weak, cowardly, little bully. One on one, he wouldn't dare say that to anyone.

This is the man who ran from a war he said he supported, who ran and hid from the mother of a soldier, dead because of his lies, and he thinks we would take anything he has to say seriously? I only listen to real men, people who have integrity and honor.

If we have enemies in Iraq now, it's because this criminal administration has killed and tortured their families, their children, mothers and fathers and raped their country, stolen their money. NOT because the American people don't like their president or his policies and say so, as they have a right to do. This is why he started wars. He thought he could use them as an excuse for everything. What a fool he is. At the most, that would work for a few years and a few years is up. Get a grip, George!! No one cares what you think ~ they just want you out of the White House before you cause any more harm in the world.

I can't stand the stupidity of these people anymore. We are the laughing stock of the world. And for good reason. He should hear what the average person has to say about him out here in the real world, including those who were foolish enough to vote for him ~

21. He can bite me!
And Democratic National Committee communications director Karen Finney said: "The Bush administration's attack, distract and distort tactics reflect a Nixonian paranoia that is un-American. It's shameful that once again the Bush administration resorted to attacking the patriotism of fellow Americans rather than answering legitimate questions surrounding the president's failures in Iraq."

really expect any of us to take his threats seriously? whoever reads to him should try reading the constitution--although all the big words might fry his coke-riddled brain.

a person secure in his/her convictions has no problem hearing other points of view.

Could it be we'll revisit tyranny if we do? What tyranny is he referring to? 9/11?

http://www.nytimes.com/2006/01/10/politics/10cnd-prexy....

Mr. Bush added that "a country that divides into factions and dwells on old grievances cannot move forward and risks sliding back into tyranny."

is an asshat chimp trying to silence critics. And get this audacity:

"In his first speech of 2006 on the road, last week in Chicago, he aggressively challenged Democrats on the economy."

Lets do a direct comparison -- in terms of the markets, GDP, the deficit and job creation -- between the Democrats' last term in office and the Republicans' last term in office. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, you douchebag.
