I have a mixed opinion on this subject but what do you all think about the record producer making a Spanish version of the national anthem?

1. I don't particularly care. |

I am sure it has been sung that way before somewhere.

The subject line contains the 10-foot pole with which I will not touch that.

3. Eh, what's the big deal? My only problem with it is that... |

the result sounds nothing like the anthem, to my ears. Obviously, something gets lost in translation

Norway has a freakishly complicated national anthem. I've always wanted to hear it in English.
Maybe that record producer should include a copy of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, in Spanish, along with the recording.
Everyone should be allowed to listen, read and understand the anthems and constitutions of other countries.
