President Pretzel Caught Telling the Truth
Edited on Wed Jan-11-06 12:15 AM by Clara T
"This is a limited program designed to prevent attacks on the United States of America and, I repeat, limited," President Bush about the National Security Agency's domestic spying on Americans without a court order.
- Associated Press, January 2, 2006

The president is right. It's limited to those who are being spied upon. No one who is not being spied upon is being spied upon.

1. Shouldn't "high profile people" be very concerned about
the spying scandal? ...like people working for the media, like politicians,
like executives...isn't the potential for abusing this very risky for
these groups of people? I mean, not that the average citizen isn't interesting
and all?

3. REDRUM
:grr:

Swear to Jebus, Orwell is doing somersaults in his grave. We are being "Animal Farmed". And ninety percent of the people in this country are not only not mad about it, they don't even begin to understand it. "Just keep the beer and Nascar coming."

There are fucking mass murderers in charge of this country!!!

I'm going to try to figure out a way to go protest in DC before SOTU. This insanity cannot be ignored any longer.

Make the bumper sticker. I'll pass them around.

6. Thanks
I wish I had the time. But right now I'm going to start talking to a friend in Indy about going to Washington. I think my soul needs that more than printing a sticker that, sadly, 99% of this red state's undereducated and overwhelmed population won't even understand. When I was young, it was, if not cool, then at least okay to be smart, and want to learn all sorts of things . . . but Reagan made it cool to be a dumbshit, and damned if it didn't stick.

I bid you all goodnight. Manana.
