George Will drops bomb on Roy Blunt!
Stegosaurus and House Republicans

Roy Blunt of Missouri, the man who was selected, not elected, to replace DeLay, is a champion of earmarks as a form of constituent service. If, as one member says, “the problem is not just DeLay but ‘DeLay, Inc.,’ ” Blunt is not the solution. So far — the field may expand — the choice for majority leader is between Blunt and John Boehner of Ohio. A salient fact: In 15 years in the House, Boehner has never put an earmark in an appropriations bill.

4. In the Globe no less.
Of course Roy could be in jail and our district would probably reelect him.

6. Go Roy Go...Go Roy Go...
C'mon, get out some ...the battle of the Gingrich accolytes are about to begin!

Blunt's role has and is to play cover for the Bugman who still thinks he can take his operation underground and once the heat is off regain the money and inside power he might have lost in recent weeks. Blunt is the bagman and distraction to give DeLay the cover he thinks he can get to maintain his mafia machine. Look at how things went in the final weeks. It was amazing, never once could you see DeLay's lips move when Blunt talk, but you know who was doing the speaking!

As long as DeLay remains visible inside the beltway, he remains an intimidating power. Even now, he's supposedly been disgraced, but I'll bet he's still the most powerful Repugnican in town and the vast majority of the Repugnican caucus still fears/respects (co-dependency) DeLay...as long as he continues to walk the halls and intimidate. Just like a vampire, this dude needs a silver spike through the heart. He needs to be convicted and sent to jail where his style is better understood. My bets are Bugman will be running the cigarette cartel in the big house in no time.

Boenner is Gingrich's proxy and most Repugnicans know that. Newtie's trying to ride in as the "saviour" of the "revolution" he claimed he started. The degree of seperation between Blunt and Boenner are very little when it comes to substance...they're both crooks...just one bullshit betters than the other. The one who does, becomes your next House Majority leader.

If people here think Democrats are spineless, they haven't seen a thing until we watch this Repugnican dog and pony show. Remember, DeLay wasn't outsted cause he was guilty or did anything wrong, it was cause he was caught. The fall hasn't even begun. A safe bet...whomever is elected won't be in that position in 2 years from now.
