"The Economy is very Robust" |
|
I am getting really tired of hearing this on all the news channels. The economy may be great for those who have their money invested in the stock market and live off the proceeds like dividends and capital gains but for most of all us working people,I am just not seeing how great it is. Sure I have a 401k by I can't use it without a penalty. I have over 25 years to go before retirement.
Gas prices are high, natural gas prices were almost double to heat my house this past winter, my insurance for both my home owners and auto went up about 20% for absolutely no reason other then "rates went up across the board", my health insurance deduction at work went up, food costs are up (probably cause of gas, and that only some of the things I can think about quickly.
Why doesn't anyone point out any of these things to the freaking people who say this is the best economy in years?
My rant is over!

handling of the economy? People are paying an arm and leg for gas and home heating and it's affecting other prices too--cm'on media stop trying to peddle this nonsense.
