isn't this just getting out on bail? Isn't there going to be a trial? I guess not. He just got arrested and freed on probation all within minutes in the late afternoon on a Friday. Geez!!!!

He doesn't have to report to a probation officer, just continue to report to the (no doubt well compensated) doctor who will tell the court that Rush continues to be "clean" for the next 18 months, then the record will be expunged. It's OK, though. Sure would like to see his lawyer's bill. Mighty hefty, is my guess.

A co-worked used to run errands for our (hated) supervisor, getting him lunch was the main thing,,, I asked the co-worker why he did this , he would reply I'm just buttering him up, the co-worked knew the Supervisor had been tested Positive on a Urinalyses and he was on probation, the co-worker was putting marijuana butter in his lunchs,, a couple of months later the supervisor was tested and never returned to work. " Butter him up" we've got eighteen months.
