Top Democrats DEPLORE...loss of US Troops in Iraq!
As the number approaches 3,000, Dems urge a "Call to Action" and do a protest on the Mall and are arrested!

Democrats who were interviewed seem to feel that "...too many lives have been lost searching for WMD in Iraq and after over three years it's time to "re-deploy troops...or bring them home."

At least 7 Leading Democratic Activists against the Iraq Invasion and Occupation were arrested today protesting this illegal action by the Bush Administration.

They were handcuffed by Capitol Hill police and lead away. At least one of them tried to hit a Capitol Hill Police official with a "closed fist" making this the first time a Congressperson has actively tried to "strike out" a DC Police Official

The Congressperson involved was captured and placed in a special detention office pending action from their lawyer. The rest of the Congresspeople arrested were released on their own reconizance.
