Rush's punishment is EXACTLY how most drug crimes should be treated |
|
A suspended sentence based on successful completion of drug rehab.
The problem is, the vast majority of non-rich, non-Republican and non-white drug users are NOT treated this way. They are in prison, making lifelong friends with thieves, murderers and rapists.
I guess life just ain't fair for some people. Huh Rush?

2. Strange, I read he wanted white drug users to be "sent up the river" |

just like black drug defendants, instead of let go with a warning or slap on the wrist. Must've been another Rush Limbaugh who said that.

White Warter flows right along, the Niagara Falls flows over. The Grand Canyon is both wide and Deep. All of this is what a rush. What is a downer is red neck radio in Dummysville- Rush Limbaugh. The bastard just couldn,t help himself, he had to get above it,indeed ,what a rush.

3. And the thing is, this is run-of-the-mill attorney work. |
|
Papers containing boilerplate language get filed, a few appearances are made, and the rest is up to the defendant. It would be a great community service for a network of liberal lawyers to offer.

4. First offenses, usually they are |
|
I can't say for states like Florida and Texas, but for most of the country, this is how it works on a first offense for everybody. Except usually the person pleads guilty and the sentence is deferred until treatment is completed and other probation terms are met.

Most people don't get that kind of sentence, especiall people who are poor or a minority, why not let Rush enjoy the salubrious climes of Starke FL?
Just like most other folks.

8. One big possible difference |

I haven't seen anything about Rash agreeing to weekly urine tests. I don't think Rash could pass them. Other defendents are required to take them as a condition of probation.

9. Maybe Tom Sizemore can help him. He was caught with some kind |
|
of device that stores someone else's urine at the right temperature, until it's needed to beat the drug test. He could get away with it. Who would want to watch Rush take a piss?
