5. Interesting thought at DEAwatch on Cheney
Sometimes these guys are really on top of things, but of course everything is ForWhatItIsWorth- http://members.aol.com/deawatch/daily.htm It will sink off the page in a few days.

Special Messages:

As more and more revelations about the illegal domestic spying op by George Bush evolves and angers, there is talk that the only way for George to save himself from Republican members agreeing to his impeachment is for him and Cheney to agree to a major compromise with Republican Constitutionalists who deplore an intrusive federal government and a Napoleonic/Hitlerian president. That compromise is Cheney's resignation.

Word on the street is Cheney's new illnesses are a prelude to his resignation for "medical/health" reasons... Cheney is date-stamping his medical maladies now so that an abrupt, medically related resignation doesn't appear too sudden... and phony. Several Republican House and Senate members are now jostling for the VP job but talk is that Jeb is highest in the running... Jeb's a proven governor and qualified... but the Bush Family is saying they're tired -- for the moment -- of politics. We'll see...

7. Outrageous comparison!!!!!
"and a Napoleonic/Hitlerian president"

"The barbarous custom of having men beaten who are suspected of having important secrets to reveal must be abolished. It has always been recognized that this way of interrogating men, by putting them to torture, produces nothing worthwhile."

Napoleon to Berthier 11 Nov 1798, Corres., V, no. 3606 p. 128 quoted in - Napoleon on the Art of War
