I don't get it. Is it just some irony?

1. Maybe she's envisioning a cracked egg when she calls him that.

5. She's got me stumped with that one.
I've wondered if there's a new meaning for it that I haven't heard about.
What irony that it sounds like she's calling him an intellectual!

He hates brainy people. Maybe she's trying to conjure some self-hatred in him. ;)

23. And it's written almost in Rummy-speak
"Reports that say that something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns -- the ones we don't know we don't know."

So was my original question a "known unknown" or an "unknown unknown"?

3. I'm the Decider, Koo-Koo-Kachoo
http://decider.cf.huffingtonpost.com

I am me and Rummy's he Iraq is free and we are all together

See the world run when D.ick shoots his gun, see how I lie ... I'm Lying

Sitting on my own brain, waiting for the end of days

Corporation profits, Bloody oil money I'm above the law and I'll decide what's right or wrong

I am the egg head, I'm the Commander, I'm the Decider Koo-Koo-Kachoo

Bagdad city policeman sitting pretty little targets in a row

See how they die when the shrapnel flies see mothers cry
I'm Lying. I'm Ly-ing I'm Lying. I'm Ly-ing

Yellow cake plutonium, imaginary WMD's

Declassifying facts, exposing secret agents Tax cuts for the wealthy leaving all the poor behind

I am the egg head, I'm the Commander, I'm the Decider Koo-Koo-Kachoo

CHORUS

Sitting in the White house garden talking to the Lord
My thoughts would be busy busy hatching If I only had a brain

I am the egg head, I'm the Commander, I'm the Decider Koo-Koo-Kachoo

CHORUS

11. Those are amazing lyrics,
other than the "egg head" part. I guess a new (and opposite) meaning has been, uh, hatched.

Thanks for posting them. :hi:

She's made a few other comments since I've been listening to her that make me wince.

She's growing like a weed! At 6 months: 28 inches, 19 pounds! Doc says she'll be a six-foot-tall strawberry blonde. Smart, too!

So, how about you?

Edited to add: I've tried to keep donating for the Katrina pets, but we had one of our own come down with FIP. We spent thousands trying to save her, to no avail. Project Starfish and Pasado's Safe Haven keep emailing me, but I've been blowing them off.

16. Yowza! A six-foot strawberry blonde!
I know she's got to have inherited smarts at least from her Dad. And maybe some awesome toughness from her Mom. :)

As for me, I'm hanging in there, and fighting back. ;)

Do you have any baby pics posted? She was such a cutie -- from day one!

She had a sweet, happy life.

Now, to change the subject:

20. I am so sorry to hear about your poor little Zooey
:(

I don't know what I'd do without my baby. She's getting a lot of food she isn't quite crazy about, because I'm trying to keep her kidneys healthy.

She probably eats some of the same food as your fuzzy pink bunny! :D
Quite a bit of Gerber foods (vegetables and cereals) mixed with her canned food.

Now, on to your change of subject... What a cutie!!!
Did she have a fun Easter? Not much a six-month old can do, except go nuts over the colors.

I remember Mike Malloy talking about going into a store with Molly when she was a baby.
He said she was loving all of the colors and shapes of things.
He had her in a front-carrier, and her little arms and legs started going. They get so excited over pretty things. :)

Rosy cheeks and huge blue eyes! Too CUTE!!! :D
She looks very alert too. A wise, old soul, no doubt.

21. Easter egg hunt
We actually got together with other friends with kids for our neighborhood's Easter egg hunt. Can you believe that we have egg hunts in Chicago neighborhoods? Quite surreal, but a great chance to socialize, take pictures, and let the babies hang out together a bit (on our laps, of course).

And yes, she's very, very interested in everything. She realized that books must have some sort of meaning last week, because she's started turning pages and staring at them. She even gurgles at specific pictures. It's weird to watch someone figure that out.

That's hilarious! Where do you hide the eggs? Yikes!
Babies are usually fascinated with other babies. That's great that there are more little ones in your neighborhood.

How wonderful it must be to watch her learning and discovering. :)

24. We have some great parks.
Edited on Sat Apr-29-06 12:37 AM by iconoclastic cat
This one happens to be surrounded by a lot of cool shops. The streets around it were blocked off, so the parents shopped and drank coffee while the kids ran around. Great fun.

Okay, nick', I'm calling it quits for tonight. It was great talking to you. Have a good weekend!
