Anybody else having trouble loading crooksandliars.com?
We haven't been able to load any of their pages in several days. The browser displays nothing. This is the only website we have this problem with. Anybody else?

2. loads fine from a UK IP

try linking off a site that carries a hyperlink to it, pasting the URL into a blank window or clearing your cache.

In case it's an IP-related issue try this:

http://proxify.net/

Which browser you using and how is it configured? (JavaScript on/off etc)

4. crooksandliars loads fine through Proxify
Edited on Wed Jan-11-06 04:42 AM by redacted
Thanks for the suggestion. We're using Safari 1.3.1 Build 312.3 with Mac OS X Panther. Hardware includes a PowerBook and a G5 Mac, and neither computer will load crooksandliars under normal use. Plugins, Java, JavaScript and popup blocking are all enabled. Cookies are accepted.

What do you think it implies if the page loads great with Proxify but not any other way?

6. I'd be guessing redacted
I'm not sure if it's a problem at the server side or the client side. I'm guessing here but maybe your IP has been blacklisted by their server for some reason, particularly if your IP is static (single address allocated to you alone). Even if you are on a dynamic IP (change of address each time you log on) the netblock you get an IP allocated from might have been blocked, or possibly a part of the netblock. Difficult to say. The fact that you can't connect through either computer without using Proxify suggests it might not be anything wrong at your end. Try mailing them although it might bounce back if your IP is being blocked.

Sorry I can't help further redacted. Bit of a pisser.
