(Angus Reid Global Scan) – Many adults in the U.S. believe the leader of al-Qaeda will not be successfully detained this year, according to a poll by Gallup released by CNN and USA Today. 68 per cent of respondents believe it is unlikely that Osama bin Laden will be captured or killed.

----------------

Bin Laden has not been seen publicly since the start of the war on terrorism, appearing only in several purportedly authentic video and audiotapes.

In June 2005, Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) director Porter Goss declared in an interview with Time that he has an "excellent idea" of where bin Laden is. U.S. vice-president Dick Cheney later declared to CNN, "We’ve got a pretty good idea of the general area that (bin Laden’s) in, but I—you know, I don’t have the street address."

-----------------

all i know is, if a democrat were president, there would be DAILY riots in the streets.

1. Why are these asswhipes all hetted up about binny boy's whereabouts?
They weren't too worried about him when we had him cornered in Tora Bora. What's changed?

I think they could find him, but it will take a shovel.

2. maybe they're saving him as a trump card against the scandals,
but your scenario is more likely. but if they brought him home king kong style, bush would be carved on rushmore.

5. Honestly
If he shaved his beard and lost the turban, he could hide right out in the open here in NY and no one would be the wiser.
