Interesting take on how the Reich Wing and NeoCons took over the Government |
|
this is from a post on the Awful Forms, by a person called Martin Randon, self professed 'Insider' in the White House.. that is all debatable but i am just sharing his 'Opinion' about how the present Bizarre situation came to be..
Martin Random replying to a question, '...is Washington completely F*ucked, is there any hope for the future of this country?...' %%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% Martin Random: '...Democracy as a government relies upon the ability of factions to compromise on divisive issues through rational debate instead of violence. The current political power brokers have figured out how to short circuit this process by focusing national attention on issues which are based on differences of non-negotiable, irrational moral sentiment. They've broken democracy.'
%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%% i really find that interesting, not just because i had come to the same conclusion years before..
the religious Reich operates on a Moral platform, the nano-second you even think of disagreeing with them you lose.. by definition. they are moral and you are not moral. and they called Clinton 'Slippery'.
how do we deal with this.. I think we will need to stand in the street with a sign with 10's of thousands of others who are tired of stolen elections and Fascist give aways of our jobs and tax money to the Richest of the rich.. and the wars based on lies.. the White House is obviously inhabited by the mentally ill, just lock the doors and put up a 'Sanatorium' sign.

2. The guy is right about the "moral" platform |
|
They've been at it since the '80s, and maybe even before that. One of the strongest things democratically-minded people could do is to Define Morals. We need to ask is it moral to allow people to go hungry in our own nation, let alone overseas. Is it moral to kill civilians in countries whose governments were not threatening us. Is it moral to allow fear to drive us to intrude on citizens' privacy, especially those who promote peace, and to assume guilt by means of simple suspicion. There are many other similar questions that should be asked.
Morality is a system of principles and judgments based on cultural, religious, and philosophical concepts and beliefs, by which humans determine whether given actions are right or wrong. These concepts and beliefs are often generalized and codified by a culture or group, and thus serve to regulate the behavior of its members. Conformity to such codification may also be called morality, and the group may depend on widespread conformity to such codes for its continued existence... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morals

3. The Xtians will be outsourced because of their irrational beliefs. |

Those who choose to ignore or refuse to accept scientific advancement or principles in the name of religious ideology will, over time, become economically obsolete. They will continue to be usurped by individuals in societies that realize that scientific advancement and principles are the single best method for economic advancement.
As our world becomes more global and dependent upon knowledge-based skills, I hold hope in my heart that the backwards assed, Medieval thinking demonstrated by most Xtians will be selected out of our social system.
Let's see how fervent their beliefs are when they can't put food on their table or can't fuel up the "W" sticker laden SUV. Fuck 'em.
