I am feeling a little newvous for him, though. I can't believe he had the courage to say some of the things he said (the photo op remark was particularly brazen (and so true!)).

33. Right, I was tranced out at points until I noticed that he planned it all!
The guy is a genius. Helen, Colbert, Clooney all stay behind and work the room.

Quite a scene. What a great comment about the two geneals being the only ones who
support Rummy.

"Stop loss for generals to keep them from speaking out...
They're fit enough to stand on a bank of computers and order men into battle."

He won't be back.

I've been watching this thing for as long as C-Span has carried it, and it's always a new headliner. Great that Colbert got it done tonight.

The award given to the top reporters this year was to the guy who broke the Duke Cunningham story. When Bush had to stand for pictures and a smile with those guys I thought I'd choke! It went down for him from there.

30. there will be, and it's being replayed...this is one for the ages
it does two things...

it unmasked Bush as what he is, a shameless, empty, photo-opping self-promoter

and

it unmasks the media, parTICularly the WH press corpsE, as nothing but a humorless bunch of self-protective shills, who cannot STAND to see the truth told on THEIR TURF

and this thread needs several more recommends to get on the main page

thanks for posting
