Wanna know what pisses me off about this shit? |
|
All these assholes at the correspondence dinner were sitting there on their hands -- scared to death of perhaps laughing at what they knew was the truth being said via satire -- but they had absolutely no problem laughing outloud about:
Washington DC: The chocolate city with the marshmallow center.
What the hell is wrong with these people that they believe poking fun of the man who has done the most in recent history to ruin our nation is 'inappropriate,' however, laughing out loud about obvious racism is okay?

1. They care more about access |

than they care about informing the public.

3. Bob Woodward made that perfectly clear |
|
Not only did Woodward admit it, he compromised his integrity so he could get the same access.

11. Colbert via satire held up a mirror and they were uncomfortable with what |
|
they saw, IMO. It was scathing.
There was a reason, I think, that of all the WH press corps Helen Thomas was the one featured in the Colbert video. Not just because she's a good sport. She asks the tough essential questions and keeps on asking them. Unlike so many of her self-satisfied smug and compromised colleagues.
